Collection of 14 tracks recorded for the Morgan Blue Town label in the U.K. in the late '60s. It's been assembled with a lot of love and care -- one suspects from the graphic design that it's somehow affiliated with the Rubble series of Brit psych rarities. Like that series, this is concerned with fey U.K. psych-pop that's just too darned sweet and cheerful to exert a lasting hold on most listeners. The Smoke's "My Friend Jack" is a Who-ish gem (and available on numerous other reissues), and Fortes Mentum's "Saga of Wrinkled Man" is nicely atmospheric, but most of the rest fails to make a lasting impact, though extreme devotees of the genre might see it otherwise.
