AllMusic Review by

Cuban-American Jorge Moreno delivers his debut album, focused on popular Latin rhythms combined with '50s and '60s pop styles. He breaks the ice with a bolero called "Reloj," followed by the modern ballad "Despertaré," goes on to cover Desi Arnaz's classic "Babalu," and then does an interesting Latin pop-meets-tropical song titled "Mi Sufrimiento." After Latin rock ballad "Volver a Empezar," the techno-pop "Ella" emerges as an alienating track, changing to a Beatles-oriented "16," and ending with "Por Eternidad," whose lyrics are based on the last thoughts by a dying man who wishes he had more time to do good deeds.
