Both the name and talents of Rudolph Stanfield are known throughout the gospel music arena for his work with such artists as James Cleveland, James Moore, Vanessa Bell Armstrong, and R&B legend Aretha Franklin, as well as penning the hit "Stir up the Gift" for the Colorado Mass Choir. Stanfield and his talented vocal aggregation, New Revelation, offer up a nice mix of traditional, contemporary, and praise & worship sounds on their Malaco Records debut. Touches of funk dot the traditional gospel message on the tracks "Don't Stop the Praise," "Goodness and Mercy," and "A Living Testimony." Special guest vocalist Vanessa Bell Armstrong gives a sterling performance on the soul-touching "When God Says Yes." This project is a choir music lover's delight.
