AllMusic Review by

Eduardo Dusek is a pop artist who based his career in ironic, satiric songs (mostly written with Luís Carlos Góes). This compilation comprises the period 1980/1986, with "Nostradamus" (his first hit, from Globo Network's MPB Shell festival of 1980), "Barrados No Baile" (song performed with success in the following year's edition of that festival), the Brecht-inspired song "Singapura" (which was re-recorded by Cida Moreira), the marchinha "Folia No Matagal" (re-recorded by Ney Matogrosso), "Rock Da Cachorra" (where he urges listeners to "exchange your dog for a poor child"), the guarânia "A Índia E O Traficante," and "Brega-chique" (a satire against the brega music).
