Mexican Yamil builds up his hopes of becoming a Latin star with Mi Primera Ilusión, a well-produced debut album combining traditional and pop music, starting with "Chiquita," (Little Girl) "Mi Chica Ideal," (My Favorite Girl), and "Niña Linda," (Pretty Girl), expressing Yamil's romantic side, followed by Latin pop "Cachetada," a type of song performed by Luis Miguel and Argentine Pablo Ruiz in their early records. A good beginning for a promising artist.
