Pino Donaggio was called upon to deliver a big effective score for this low-budget horror take on Beauty and the Beast, and seems to have managed to retain some orchestral components even with extensive use of electronics. The score really isn't amongst his best, suffering from some limp attempts at pomposity and a surprising amount of sugary writing (the latter being particularly underwhelming when performed on banks of electronics). Very much for completists.
