AllMusic Review by

Instead of the original's missing link between acid house's fuzzy love simplicity and the scene's subsequent trance jubilation, Da Hool's "Meet Her at the Love Parade" gets re-released four years later. It leaps a generation gap by being turned into a colder, harder doppelganger, seething as Fergie does a Fergie on it (buckling a 20-ton anvil on its bass, keeping the household art rock synths out of earshot for as long as possible for maximum effect) and Pete Heller hunkers down in a wide impressionistic rendering of the original that isn't too far off from his spry "Sputnik."
