AllMusic Review by

The former singer from new flamenco pioneers la Barbería del Sur continued to pay homage to the great bolero composers in this 2012 tribute to Armando Manzanero, as he had previously done with Agustín Lara on his 2005 solo debut. Known for his willingness to fuse flamenco with pop, jazz, rock, or Latin music, and for working with a plethora of illustrious collaborators, Negri applies his new flamenco treatment to 12 Manzanero originals, split between five classics such as "Contigo Aprendí" or "Esperaré," and seven previously unreleased songs. Guests include singers Miguel Poveda, Estrella Morente, Bebe, Dani Martin, and El Langui, among others, as well as musicians including Niño Josele and Raimundo Amador.
