AllMusic Review by

On this album of traditional Christmas music, James Hardman brings together the same combination of classical training and space music sensibilities that characterize his other releases. A couple of well-known carols, such as "O Come, O Come Emmanuel" and "Silent Night," are included here, but for the most part the pieces are more obscure works from 13th- through 16th-century European sources. Hardman's sensitive electronic orchestrations -- using the sounds of piano, strings, horns and woodwinds -- bring on appropriate feelings of reverence and depth to this sacred music.
