With a sound that meets somewhere between Nirvana and Psalm 69-era Ministry, it seemed that for a brief moment back in 1992, Daisy Chainsaw would be a force to be reckoned with. Featuring two songs off their debut album Eleventeen, Love Sick Pleasure is one of those rare EPs that actually surpassed the album it was promoting. Crispin Gray's loud and dirty riffs, half-punk and half-thrash, max out all the sound levels. Katie Jane Garside's intriguing voice (which shows amazing range on "Sick of Sex") paints a pop gloss over the violent sounds the band is pummeling out of their instruments, somehow melting together a very distinctive sound.
