This nine-track budget compilation is a random collection of tracks from throughout Nat "King" Cole's tenure at Capitol Records. The title doesn't provide much of an organizing principle -- most of the songs Cole sang were love songs -- except that it means the material leans toward ballads. Actually, "Smile," the lead-off track, isn't a love song at all. Cole is an expert crooner, of course, so there are pleasures here. But this is just another in a seemingly endless series of pointless repackagings of Cole's recordings.
