A '90s single, a CD with five different versions of the same song, in this case "Love Like Mine." The album version floats sensuously along above a loping midtempo beat; a Phil T./Dennis J remix version adds syncopation, and they slow the groove to an orgasmic grind; the "Partee Radio Mix" has hops and a straightforward vocal, the "Partee Extended Mix" rolls for a minute longer, with the backing voices mixed higher. The final version, labeled a "Real Character Remix with Rap", has more attitude, but the beat's the same; the rap the only defining difference. Nice song, but five versions -- puh-leez!
