This 56-minute video, shot by documentary filmmaker D.A. Pennebaker, chronicles John Lennon's September 13, 1969, live appearance at a festival in Toronto. Lennon fans may recall that he was not actually on stage for 56 minutes, and the extra time is filled up with performances by '50s rockers Bo Diddley, Jerry Lee Lewis, Chuck Berry, and (most spectacularly) Little Richard. Lennon appropriately runs through some '50s oldies himself, plus "Yer Blues," and the then-new "Cold Turkey," and "Give Peace a Chance," after which Yoko Ono gets to scream for a while. The Plastic Ono Band backing them includes Eric Clapton.
