This live performance, released for the initial time on a 1996 CD, features virtuoso pianist Dorothy Donegan with the very alert bassist Mads Vinding and drummer Ed Thigpen. The very spontaneous concert features Donegan, as usual, playing whatever comes into her mind; "Out of Nowhere" segues smoothly into "Sweet Lorraine" before a gospel-ish "Send in the Clowns" is tacked in at the end. Full-length versions of "Rosetta," "The Best Things In Life Are Free" and "Take the 'A' Train" are highlights, although there are also four medleys with some wandering moments and a few quick fadeouts. An intriguing and sometimes eccentric set.
