AllMusic Review by

A "collectors' only" form of live album from the Pointer Sisters, released by the regularly unreliable Direct Source label in 2006, Live is a succinct set that concentrates on the group's '80s hits -- "Automatic," "Neutron Dance," "Jump (For My Love)," "He's So Shy," and the like. The Pointers sound alright, but they're backed by a band that is overly bright-sounding and mixed in a way that occasionally overrides the vocals. (The crowd is also a little too present.) What's almost equally annoying is that there's no indication of where or when this set took place. An opening run through "How Long (Betcha Gotta Chick Aside)," despite the weird mouth noises, is a pleasant surprise.
