This 1982 performance features the diminutive but powerful pianist in a trio date with bassist Palle Danielsson and drummer Eliot Zigmund, concentrating almost exclusively on Petrucciani's originals. Both "Regina" and "Our Tune" are intense and Latin-flavored, while "The Prayer" finds the trio in a much more relaxed mode. Guitarist Jim Hall sits in to perform his own "Waltz New," a well-known swinger based on the chord changes to "Someday My Prince Will Come." The only major flaw with this release is that each song begins with a freeze frame as the music starts, rather than beginning the video and the music simultaneously.
