AllMusic Review by

Andrew Lagowski, trading here as Legion, is a refugee from the European electronic body music movement of the 80s, having released numerous full-lengths and 12"s on a wide variety of labels. His recordings under his own name generally work the techno/industrial gridlines to smart effect-as Legion, he explores darkwave ambient territory with requisite menace and a far-reaching breadth of vision. Though the CD tray card would have you believe there are six tracks present, LEVIATHAN actually cruises through its 70+ minutes of epic fury as one single, unbroken piece. Via his electronic soundbanks, Lagowski conjures forth great billowing gusts of digital wind, string-synths mourning deep in the bowels of deserted caverns, imbuing these sounds with a great degree of weight, immensity and largesse, so that the implicit meaning of the album's title isn't lost on a soul. Latent power resides here in these monolithic reams of electronics--let Lagowski be your tour guide.
