This CD was sent out by RCA to radio stations in 1995 to promote From Good Homes' 1995 major-label debut, Open Up the Sky. The CD contains three tracks: "Let Go" and two songs from the band's indie debut Hick Pop Comin' at Ya. "Let Go" was a standout from their debut record, but did not have the impact RCA had hoped. The live versions of "Way Down Inside" and "Black Elk Speaks" are from 1993 soundchecks and demonstrate what a great live band From Good Homes was. This is an essential single for fans of the band to acquire. It shows that their label did try to break them into the world. And this single allows one to hear songs from the first two albums side by side. (Though that is less exciting in the days of the CD burner.) Hick Pop Comin' at Ya may be too hard to find for most fans of From Good Homes. RCA re-released four songs with this single and From Good Homes. Certainly a few thousand were produced and are unnecessarily collecting dust at used record stores. Go find one! [This is the first radio single from Open Up the Sky, the second was for Cool Me Down.]
