AllMusic Review by

Here are two generations of fine rural zydeco recorded in 1977. The Carrirre brothers, born before World War I, played a bluesier Cajun style. The Playboys, founded in the 1960s, showed the familiar R&B influences (and had a terrific fiddle-player as well as a heavy accordionist).
