AllMusic Review by

The second CD in a series of documentaries of the work of this pioneering German sound artist, his small music CDs are beautiful recordings of the miniature sculpture the artist built with speakers. With these spread across gallery floors and suspended form the ceiling, small sounds are projected through the space brining to life these oblique objects. The effect of the recording is that one can visualize the spatiality of these fascinating installations, and, with the informative booklet accompanying the CD, one can view photographs and read about the sculptures -- miniature objects that make a discreet intervention into a reverberant space. Similar works by David Tudor and John Cage spring to mind, namely the Rainforest work from the 1960s. Another extraordinary artist from the sound art world making exquisite recordings that make us rethink music and our audible environment.
