The Ah Club is basically two women who put together simple, downsampled beats and loops from jazz or classical records, then add vocals. Kiss the Sky Goodbye features 20 very short songs of this, and it's not very diverse. The technique is sometimes interesting because of its D.I.Y. aesthetic, but more often it simply sounds amateurish, partly due to badly sung and badly recorded vocals. When everything comes together (on maybe two or three tracks), this is interesting, but the rest of the album is quite poor.
