AllMusic Review by

Even though the cover of Killeralbum, the ninth studio album by the Northern Bavarian "fun metal" group J.B.O., parodies Iron Maiden's classic Killers image (with Maiden's mascot Eddie dressed in pink and holding a quill instead of a knife), the album itself does not feature any further Maiden references. Instead, the band offers 16 tracks of its trademark "comedy rock," including humorous originals ("Kalaschnikow," "Killer"), a number of sketch-type interludes ("Reklame"), and several cover songs ("Dr. Met" covers the Doobie Brothers' "The Doctor," "Jenseits" covers Nino de Angelo's "Jenseits von Eden"). The album debuted at number three in the German album charts.
