This double-disc set from Madacy Entertainment presents the 2004 Poco reunion concert as both an audio and a DVD document. The latter is pretty much a stripped-down repeat of the DVD-only version issued in 2005, while the CD is an audio document of the same performance by Rusty Young, Paul Cotton, George Grantham, et al. The sound is excellent on the CD, and the DVD presents essentially the same show in 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround, if that's what one wants. There are some basic historical notes but little background about the tour on which this show was recorded (in Nashville), but the singing and playing are so beautiful that little explanation is needed to appreciate what's here. There is only one flaw in the CD, though it is an annoying one -- the indexing of the tracks is off; there are 16 tracks listed but only 14 on the CD (some material at the opening is indexed together), so that, for instance, "Rose of Cimarron" is listed as track 13 when it's really track 11.
