The Swedish band Kebnekajse had their heyday in the 1970s, playing space-rock with hints of both Nordic folk and African rhythms. The folks at Forced Exposure had the smarts to reissue the band's first four albums, which come off as fresh and weird and hypnotic today as they must have sounded back then. This 2009 release reveals the band in fine form 30 years later. Dungen lead guitarist Reine Fiske produced and contributed to the album, without interfering in the band's original vibe.
