With a selection of electronic and techno tracks arranged by tempo, the Jogging Mixtape compilation from Chappell Music is a solid companion to a running workout. Of the 20 tracks on this set, nearly three-quarters are by German producer Stefan Schnabel and they stay within a tempo range of 120-140 bpm, providing a pleasantly motivating, if somewhat innocuous, aural backdrop to a run. Most of the tracks here are instrumental and in the general EDM/electronic vein, with some falling more squarely into either club or chillout mode. Runners looking to find an easy groove without a lot of distraction would find this helpful.
