In a world where adults who often claim to believe the same thing endlessly argue about theological correctness, it's refreshing sometimes to hear the innocent voices of children reaching out to God so simply and directly. Christian parents will probably enjoy the way this simply created disc moves adult worship songs into the realm of "It's a Small World" singsonginess. The songs -- which range from "Shine Jesus Shine" to "Jesus, Name Above All Names" -- are catchy and easy to remember, even if the electronic nature of the recording makes it sound somewhat canned. The vocal range of the girl choir is nil, and most of the songs have the same tempo. The only real attempt at creative arrangement comes on "All Hail King Jesus," which is countrified via a rolling banjo. Still, it's a good way to get the kiddies singing about the Savior. Few of the songs go over two minutes, so no worries about short attention spans. It would be interesting, however, if the producers of this music could add a little Disneyfied creativity to the recording and packaging.
