AllMusic Review by

JAI JAI JAI is a CD of traditional chants and melodic pop that are expertly produced for yoga, light exercise, or simply beautiful listening. The chants on JAI JAI JAI are all dedicated to human growth and compassion toward the universe. "Om Mani Padme Hum" is a classic mantra requesting everything in the universe to find its place and live in peace. On JAI JAI JAI, Wah! and her band transform this mantra into a slow yet elegant track that evokes the simplicity of Zen musical composition and adds subtle river effects to give the impression of an unending flow. "Sri Krishna" is pure pop, with its multi-track vocal and drum loop--it's easy to forget this mantra is an ode to mighty Krishna. Unlike her other albums, Wah! lets herself go in very human ways, such as on "What She Has To Give," a love song that wouldn't be out of place on a Tori Amos album. Wah!'s voice is more expressive than ever, showing amazing range and smooth delivery that is full of emotion. JAI JAI JAI is a testament to the evolution of a singular artist.
