AllMusic Review by

Four tracks ranging from deep, melodic ambient bliss to shuffling, rhythmically randomized experimental electronica. Given the EP's title, the fractured, out-of-register-whammy-bar/bridge shot gracing the cover, and an obvious nod to six-string obscurantists such as My Bloody Valentine and Seefeel on a pair of the tracks, it's safe to say much of the music originated with the relatively traditionalist (from the standpoint of electronica, anyway) medium of the guitar. The results, however, are anything but predictable, with uniformly inventive deployments of the instrument's combinatorial possibilities (effects boxes, looping figures, sequenced sound collage) filling the EP's 20-plus minutes.
