Like its brethren in Allegro's Inspirations series, Integrity takes a less-is-more approach. The extended exploration on solo acoustic guitar by composer Dan Meyers is refreshingly devoid of synthesizer or downtempo meddling, not to mention the reverbed ethnic flutes that can't seem to leave well-enough alone on most relaxation comps of this sort. It's just wavering, occasionally adventurous guitar improvisations that work nicely as thoughtful background sound.
