With former club diva Cana providing overtly innocent vocals, and light jazz and bossa nova arrangements abounding courtesy of Hiroshi Nakamura, Sotte Bosse set out to rework some of the biggest hits of modern Japanese music in Innocent View. Ultimately an album of cover songs, the major hitmakers are all present -- Spitz, SMAP, Utada Hikaru, et. al. However, they're given light ambient arrangements rather than their usual pop arrangements. The resulting sound is entirely different and new; these fresh versions provide a new life for these old songs.
