AllMusic Review by

In the collection Lovely Little Records. Two wonderfully droll songs, the first a "reinterpretation of religious history" (one of her several songs in a peculiarly Southern humorous vein), and the second about "one of the preoccupations of Americans...worrying about one's intelligence. Many of my friends and I feel as if we were much more intelligent when we were children than we are now, and this leads us to believe that we are becoming stupider every day."
