Not one of their finest singles, but a very twisted take on the Ray Charles classic, here given a "special almost" mix for the 12" release. A song in 4/4 time covered originally by the group in waltz time is now forced back into a house beat; the results are less intriguing than it sounds. The B-side consists of "Jambalaya," their dark and mysterious cover of the Hank Williams tune, "Firefly/The Big Bubble" from the Big Bubble CD, and the soul-searing version of "Cry for the Fire" from the 13th Anniversary Tour Live in Japan LP, one of their defining moments, as it includes the fine fretwork of Snakefinger. The European release of the single on Torso substitutes "For Elsie" as the B-side.
