A sheer delight of an album, also billed and labeled as Mel Brooks' Greatest Hits Featuring the Fabulous Film Scores of John Morris. The first side of the vinyl edition includes cues and songs from soundtrack of High Anxiety, including Brooks' parody of Frank Sinatra, but it's the second side that's of most interest. There you will find songs and cues from The Producers, The Twelve Chairs (including the hilarious "Hope for the Best, Expect the Worst"), Blazing Saddles (ever memorable for the wonderful gag of having Frankie Laine sing the Rawhide-inspired title cut), Young Frankenstein and Silent Movie. An unbeatable album.
