A return to form, albeit in short, for these armchair satirists, high on melody and invention. "Hats Off to Eldorado" may have absolutely no impact now whatsoever (its target being a short lived but over-hyped soap opera), but the following tracks, "Hackey's Wine Bar" and "Man's Man," are on a rollicking par with their debut. "Our Mates," the closer, is a moody slice of bitterness guaranteed not to win them any new friends. Reissued in 1997 with "Man's Man" as the A-side.
