AllMusic Review by

This vintage set, which includes some two dozen mono singles from the year 1957, is a whole lot of fun, and if everything here isn't exactly that hard to find, it's nice to have it all in one place. There are some genuine classics in the sequence, like Buddy Holly's "Oh Boy," Little Richard's "Good Golly, Miss Molly," Clarence "Frogman" Henry's "Ain't Got No Home," Sam Cooke's "You Send Me," and the Rays' original version of "Silhouettes," all of which show 1957 to have been quite a year in the early annals of rock & roll.
