Moe Bandy's late-'80s hits for Curb Records are collected on this brief album. By this time, he had tamed a lot of the rowdier aspects of his music, settling into a smoother rhythm. There are some genuine overlooked gems here -- "Back in My Roarin' 20's" and "Till I'm Too Old to Die Young" are particularly noteworthy -- but fans of his gut-level honky tonk might be disappointed. Nevertheless, it's a first-rate retrospective of a generally overlooked era.
