AllMusic Review by

This group combined in April 1998 from refugees of the Morning Shakes (New York) and the M-80s (Virginia). Their wild, exuberant garage punk threatens to tear itself at the seams at several points on the album, like the explosive "Funhouse Mirror." This power trio harks back to a time when wild rock & roll was outlandish in and of itself, and the band recaptures the contagious enthusiasm and sonic vandalism of rock & roll.
