London-based trio Lulabox consists of lead singer Mary Cassidy, guitarist Mike Cozzi, and multi-instrumentalist Stephen Ferrera. Their 1992 release, Full Bleed, is a four-song EP that hints at potential without making a real musical impact. Similar in sound to bands like Curve or My Bloody Valentine, they combine ethereal melodies and aggressive grooves. However, Lulabox lacks the charisma and personality of those two bands. Not a bad effort, and it's certainly not unlistenable. It just doesn't really take root.
