As Annabel Lamb's first album in nearly 10 years, Flow isn't bad. She has completely abandoned the jazzy reggae and dance that marked her last few albums, settling on contemporary country, of all things. It's a little strange to hear an English vocalist sing in this vein, but the album is well-crafted, thanks to Lamb's collaboration with co-writer/producer Dave Dix. The result may be a little predictable, but it is done well, and that's better than most contemporary country records of the late '90s.
