AllMusic Review by

Orange County hardcore godfathers T.S.O.L. were among Southern California punk's most notorious acts. Big, strapping jocks with a jones for violence, they brought a whole new style of mayhem to the table when they added their voice to the crowded Cali chorus. The new collection, F#*K YOU TOUGH GUY, track's the band's early, essential material, from their intro as a vaguely political animal with "Abolish Government/Silent Majority" to Misfits-inspired wickedly funny death punk on "Code Blue" and dark, druggy new-wave on "Wash Away." It's all anchored by singer Jack Grisham's hyena yowl and sick sense of humor.
