This fiercely prolific Swedish producer has already mastered the electro and tech-house realms with equal praise and aplomb. But in a dance music world where listeners and critics prefer that their artists stick to a certain style, it still comes as a surprise that Håkan Lidbo would achieve equal greatness on this collection of vocal garage/house featuring an array of guest vocalists and studio partners. It starts off incredibly bold, with a near-perfect rendition of the Salsoul classic "The Bottle" by Joe Bataan. Singer Iris replaces the hard-times male vocal of the original with a more mournful tone, which is balanced out by Lidbo's more uptempo beat. The following "Walk Away," recorded with Paula Lobos, is so convincing that you might expect it to be another classic from the disco era, although Lidbo produced it from scratch. The disco tone remains throughout most of the selections, although "Happy People" lightly skips like a track custom-made for Mark Farina and "Fuss and Fight" (also recorded with Lobos) tests out some newer progressive electro waters. But as Lidbo has proven over and over again, it doesn't matter what genre he chooses, as he always scores big.
