Eddy Navia, born in Potosi, Bolivia, is one of the greatest exponents and master virtuosos of the charango, the small, typical Bolivian stringed instrument. He was a founding member of the famous Bolivian group Savia Andina, which has toured throughout the entire world in the past 14 years. His compositions are contemporary in style, inspired by the unique majesty of the countryside, the mountains, and the resilient natural relationship of the Bolivian people to the earth.
