As the title suggests, Ellas le Cantan Al Amor features 14 Latin pop love songs sung by female artists, including Yesenia Flores' "Dejenme Llorar," Priscila y Sus Balas' "No le Voy a Rogar," and 40 Grados' "Que Bueno." Even though the collection basically consists of two songs from each of the seven featured groups and artists, it still manages to be reasonably diverse musically, ranging from the rich sound of Yolanda del Rio's voice on "Te Olvidare, Te Olvidare" to the light, rolling rhythm of Dinora y la Juventud's "Mas Enamorado." Other highlights include Briseyda y los Muchachos' "Amor, Amor" and Priscila y Sus Balas' "Un Hombre y una Mujer." Overall, Ellas le Cantan Al Amor is a pleasant-enough collection of Latin pop that should satisfy most of the style's fans.
