AllMusic Review by

One of the first albums to feature Errol Parker's unique blend of music, which often features improvisation in two keys at once, polyrhythms and simultaneous soloing, this LP has complex jams on four of Parker's originals. Via overdubbing, Parker is heard both on piano and drums and was joined by trumpeter Chris Albert, Bill Cody on woodwinds and either Bruce Johnson or Bob Cunningham on bass. Although Errol Parker's music is best heard with a larger ensemble, this is an enjoyable and generally intriguing effort.
