AllMusic Review by

A true blue Northern Soul compilation, loaded with obscure tunes performed by obscure artists; if you didn't tune in to the right AM stations back in the day, you missed these songs entirely. Truth's "Come Back Home" reminds you of the O'Jays, and for good reason, Bobby Massey (an O'Jays member at the time) produced and co-wrote the track. Detroiter Bobby O' Brown's "I Can Feel My Love Growing" ably represents this album's theme - slow, dramatic soul, as does, Clevelander Jessie Fisher's "I Can't Stop Loving You," and Betty Fykes wailing "Glory Of Love."
