As if satirizing the disposable nature of contemporary music, Incarnate (aka Alexander Addicus and Rupert J. Lloyd, aka Legion of Green Men) releases a single that they don't expect to last more than a few spins. Literally. Put out on a limited-edition, highly fragile flexi-disc honoring a single locked groove, the more the single is played, the closer it gets to breaking apart. Even the blueprint packaging it comes in begs to be ruined. The point is to commemorate the duo's 100th endless loop, to inject an anniversary with irony, and if the melange of slow breakbeats doesn't exactly make for an electronic Holy Grail, its dadaist concept is -- paradoxically -- one to remember forever.
