This two-LP bootleg is predominately from a 1980 concert in Atlanta's Fox Theater, with a couple of tracks taken from shows in Boston and in Eugene, OR, during the same tour. At the time of its release, most of the songs had not yet appeared on a commercial Frank Zappa LP; therefore, this was a preview for many Zappa fans of the forthcoming album You Are What You Is. Although all of the tracks are audience recordings, the sound is decent and the music is generally complete, with the exception of "Watermelon in Easter Hay" and "Easy Meat," the latter being a composition whose arrangement was still evolving. Particularly noteworthy is how well Zappa's band was rehearsed prior to the tour, as it easily segues from one number to the next throughout the concert. Zappa produces a rather large sound with just a sextet (including himself), and has a few of his trademark blistering guitar solos. While this long-unavailable bootleg can't be recommended in place of the commercial versions of its contents, it is worthwhile listening for true Zappa fanatics.
