Although the musicians in this album are highly skilled, nearly half of the recording is devoted to solos on one instrument -- the jakhe "crocodile" zither. The remaining selections have one major flaw: the khruang sai ensemble is missing the khlui flute, a problem akin to leaving out the second violin in a recording of string quartets. A Thai source says that the flute player failed to appear at the recording studio, but this did not deter the recording team. As with most other King issues, the notes are minimal and unreliable.
