If there was any justice in this world, Tuscerdero would have sold 20 million records after signing to Elektra and everyone would have been rich and happy. Instead, their Pink Album barely made any impact in the MTV world, the band gets dropped, lawsuits are flying, and one of the Tuscerdero members goes country and starts Shirley. To be fair, their debut album, City of Dust, isn't the kind of country that's specifically ready for mass market radio. Rather, this is a relaxing release that incorporates a ballady array of folk with hints of bluegrass. Unfortunately, Shirely move very slowly to accomplish this sound as City of Dust features a number of tracks that sound identical. Tuscerdero are gone. Has it been mentioned that there is no justice in the world?
