Dr. L.S. Scott & the Garment of Praise perform a selection of new and familiar Christmas songs on their first Christmas album, Christmas Praise. Scott's material is proudly religious, and while the production may be a little too carefully considered, Christmas Praise is nevertheless a very successful record, capturing the joy and religious fervor of Christmas. For contemporary gospel fans looking for a good Christmas record, Christmas Praise is a good bet.
